I believe in offering the very best service and support to my patients, and I aim to give my patients clear and impartial advice, with no obligation. This allows them to make a more informed decision about the best options available. Hearing is one of our most important senses and my advice is always to ensure that you have a regular assessment. Many of us take our hearing for granted and our comprehensive hearing assessment will give you the confidence that you are hearing life to the full.
Issues with ear wax? I offer ear wax removal to my clients; so if you, a family member or friend have a concern about their hearing, or need ear wax removed, then please get in touch.
Hearing loss affects over 11 million people in the UK, that's 1 in 6 of us. A large proportion of people will delay in seeking professional advice. At Brighton Hearing Care I believe people should not just be a statistic.
As a registered hearing healthcare professional with the HCPC, I have 20 years of experience in the hearing healthcare industry. In my early career, I worked for a leader in hearing healthcare test equipment, covering Scotland, I then moved to the South of England doing the same role where I laid my roots in Brighton. I went on to work for two of today's major hearing aid manufacturers and I have seen many amazing changes to the technology that hearing-impaired users now have available to them.
What we can now offer hearing aid users is not only better sound quality but the ability to connect with the world around them. The use of TV, phones as well as listening to music has become far more integrated than ever before.
I have learned that the way a person hears sound is as individual as your fingerprint. That may sound an obvious statement however many clients will often say "my friend has these aids and loves them!" "I want the same ones!" I would always advise someone based on their hearing loss, lifestyle, budget and what they would like to achieve with their instruments. No two patients are the same, in fact, we wouldn't want to treat them that way!
At Brighton Hearing Care, I feel my goal is to talk my clients through the many choices they have and help them select something that is not only suitable for their hearing loss but will allow them to connect to the ever-changing world in which we live. Allowing them to better communicate with family and friends, as well as enjoy music, TV and conversation on the phone.
